JASHIM UDDIN

Jashim Uddin serves as Director of Humanitarian Programmes at the Centre for Humanitarian Research and Social Development (CHRSD), providing strategic leadership for humanitarian response, resilience building, and organizational partnerships. He contributes to the design of evidence-based programmes that strengthen vulnerable communities and promote sustainable development across Bangladesh.

With more than two decades of professional experience in community development and humanitarian initiatives, he has led multi-stakeholder projects involving local government, civil society, and development partners. His academic background includes Master's in Development Studies, complemented by extensive expertise in programme governance, disaster preparedness, and institutional capacity building. He remains committed to advancing inclusive, accountable, and locally driven humanitarian action.
