Our History

Founded on the principles of social welfare and charitable service, CHRSD was formally registered to address the compounding environmental and social threats facing Bangladesh.

From our headquarters in Motijheel, Dhaka, we have grown from a local voluntary body into a nationally recognized foundation capable of managing multi-crore, multi-year developmental projects in coordination with the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
